I went for a stroll after dinner. We are camped on BLM land near the Acoma Indian Reservation. This tree caught my attention. it has surely had a hard life. On today's ride we went by an enormous lava flow that took place only three thousand years ago. The small trees there look like bonsai. Grants tomorrow. We are taking a rest day on the following day. The trip is going great, riding is fun, and camaraderie is good.
